About The Role.
The role will be based in our Scunthorpe offices with the option for some remote working flexibility following a successful induction and probationary period. The role is responsible for preparing, managing and processing day-to-day orders as required from our customers. A typical request may be a new PC and licences for a new starter due to join at one of our customers. In addition, the role will also be involved in account management for a selection of customers. This will include attending account management meetings with a senior account manager and conducting some remote account management meetings themselves.
Responsibilities
Within this role some of the key things you will be responsible for area
- Supporting the sales team with the management and processing of small orders
- Ensuring that sales opportunities are followed up with the agreed timescales
- Creating all necessary paperwork as part of the sales cycle for use both internally and externally
- Ensuring that all communication with customers is carried out in a timely and business-like fashion
- To ensure that the company CRM system is updated with details of your activity, appointments and sales opportunities
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- To follow the company guidelines on account management – this includes preparation for account management appointments, account management meetings and follow up
Knowledge & Experience (Required)
To be successful in this role, you will posses the following;
- At least 1 year’s experience working within the IT industry, either in a technical or sales role
- A sound understanding of IT and Business Software
